It's unclear to me what the rules are for this contest.
Is it only to enhance an image?
Are you alowed to add extra elements?

ehi CraftLord! the rules are really simple, wherever will be a source image you can do whatever you want, as changing background or elements, sure is that original source doesn't have to be hidden at all.

Concerning theme contest for example, you start just from title, there's not source usually so you can do whatever you want with your own fantasy.

Generally it means improving an image by removing imperfections and enhancing parts that catch our eye such as eyes and skin tones, enhancing color or contrast and removing any feature that might be distracting. There's more of course, but that's a good start.
