If someone has an entry in a contest but does not vote for the other entries, do they get some kind of penalty?

me analyze that a participant take other participant's art down by giving da low score vote to raise their score.. da battle score vote.? this s not right n not fair.. da participants should not vote, all members except participants have to vote by giving penalty to their experience if they don't wid -totalEntry till 0 experience.. ya give vote, ya get experience.. ya don't vote, ya lose experience.. like game.. haha.. this s da right voting system to make all members active..

I agree with you on some of your points locxoul, but voting the same number for everyone is also unfair. It's your prerogative. But why bother?

loxcoul,of course art is subjective but even within one's own subjective value system there are some that you obviously value or like more than others,by voting the same low score for all entries you are UNDERMINING the whole concept of contest or competition,where, by definition there has to be a scale of value (of your own criteria, but there must be some semblance of coherent criteria) applied to the entries in that contest in such a way that some the entries at the end will be favored over others.What it seems like is that maybe you just enjoy undermining the system.Again I repeat by giving the same low score to all entries regardless of the technical skills involved,the originality of the idea etc. you are undermining the whole spirit of what the concept of competition or contest is.Thus I would suggest that instead of continuing with your voting tendencies it would be better for the health and well being of the daily contests to not bother voting at all.

just a small observation Sage...I've only been here regularly entering in the contests for a month or so,but I've been noticing that although you have almost always placed last in the comps you have in general been the most critical with and usually giving the lowest scores to other much better entries.A bit incoherent don't you think ?
