Voting Rules?

Discuss the voting system, propose new ideas
Wed Apr 18, 2018 6:21 pm
I've looked around, but I didn't find any rules (or guidelines) for voting. I can't believe some people COMPARE one entry to another in a competition. Everyone has a different idea and view of how to chop the main source picture. You should judge each picture individually on the six points, which is given to you for each entry. That is what the rating system is for, to rate the six points and give your score based on that. Not to compare to another entry! I also notice many on here cast their vote on whether they like the entry or not. They have some major flaws, yet they are scored high because the voter liked the idea.

And the name calling has to stop.

Hi WhisperingSage, you can find the voting guidelines in the f.a.q. page.

The photoshopnation's staff cant control how users vote but the voting system try to prevent "friendly" or "unfriendly" or "unfair" voting by the honor system (please have a look if you dont know what it is).

On the same page of voting guidelins there are also some rules on comments and please follow them, users who have bad behavior will be warned and the account may be suspended or disabled.

Be constructive in the comments, nice to each other and have fun.
