Dear Citizens, a debate has surfaced lately about animations competing along static images, some argue that animations have an unfair advantage over regular entries. What do you think? We have an Animated GIF contest theme that can be voted, where all entries are animations. Would you like to ban animations from photoshop contests and only allow them for the theme contest? Furthermore, would you like the theme contest to carry a source to work on or leave it as it is, with no source and more creative freedom?

I 'm a 100% for banning animations from photoshop contests, also, I'm for the idea of gif contest with giving source!!!!

Quite difficult to maintain fairness when casting votes in competitions when animations and stills are mixed. Separating the two is the most fair way of doing this.

Then it is decided, animated gifs will only be allowed in their dedicated contest, with a source photo to work with! The people have spoken!
