I just started doing this, and I find it helpful in voting. I now rate the entry using the scales, and from that I get a general idea of the final vote.

Scale? What and where are these scales? (No joke)

To the right of the entry, under the View Full Option, there is a scale to rate the points. Idea, Color, Precision, etc. It moves over with your mouse just like you do to vote on the large scale.
