yes! I'm so tired of these 2 min shops. Please take some time and do something more than just change some colors and cut in some random pictures. try doing something you can actually be proud of. I honestly think that most entries in that competition should be disqualified.
but that's just my opinion.
the current quality of the competition entries will hardly attract a little more advanced photoshopers to join,
perhaps the owners of this site should think about two levels (beginner and advanced).
stay safe

I agree, most of those entries should be disqualified. Maybe there should be a button we can click on instead of voting, we consider it a disqualification, or the moderators should be more active in the entries. Maybe there should also be a white 1920x1920 to download to be used as background for source images, not chopped cut-outs, and not some other color. :d

Great contest... so far 37 comments. Now I'd call that communication. We are probably having a breakthrough v)

I agree, some contest monitoring would help immensely

Looking at the “Moon” contest, and all entries look like they were done by 12 year olds

Well spoken! I just started on this site and I caught myself thinking the same thing a couple of times already. OK, so it might take me forever to come up with a chop result that I am actually satisfied with. I don't expect other people to be like me... However, I see others spitting out two entries per contest, and it actually annoys me to see these sad pictures.... and I then think why do they even bother?

not all hope is lost! #) However, the contests are in need of higher quality entries, otherwise they will not attract higher skill levels. Honestly, I'd rather come in fifth knowing the competition was good that winning a contest but being kinda ashamed because the competing entries were of poor quality. But that is just my humble opinion. ( 'cause I love myself a good competition XD XD XD )
