It high time this site consider to change the voting process, deserving entries get less score while undeserving often end up high up.
I would like to hear your advise, how voting can be improved so that the artist don't feel cheated or left out.

You've been doling out scores of 30, regardless of the quality of the entry.

any voting system is as good as the people using it. We spent months coming up with a fairer system to vote, i think this is a fair system, but like every other voting system, it can be spoiled by the voters.

Absolutely correct.
The quality of the chops needs to come up too, simple cut and paste is for beginners, gotta spend more than a couple of minutes on a chop.
EVERYBODY, ...YOU WANT HIGHER VOTES, CREATE A BETTER CHOP!

I agree with both, plus it would be nice to get photoshop advice to improve my skills which is the reason I enter contests, to begin with. Lead by example with advice and help instead of acting like a bunch of crap :poo: talkers! don't take offense, instead listen, learn or you are never going to get anywhere! ;)

Most of the voters vote on how much they like the chop, even if it has lots of flaws, it will get high votes because they liked the concept. This is what is not right. Cut and Paste is part of chopping, it's how well you integrate it is where your talents are. And if you happen to find the right source to use. Luck is a gamble. A lot can be said of the program you are using. Me, I use an old PaintShop Pro, I feel it's more ME doing the chop instead of having little pre-programs doing things for you like the updated Adobe, etc.

You're trying to build a rocketship using sticks and stones, and you blame others for having an advantage because they're using the right equipment. :poo: :poo: :poo:
