This is possibly my favorite chop:

Here is the story behind it:

There are a few weaknesses, of course, but the idea of the chop is brilliant. It's like a freaky still from a film noir version of The Blues Brothers.

A few years back, I printed and framed it with this Orwell quote beneath: "‘Who controls the past controls the future: who controls the present controls the past." I gave it to my oldest kid for Christmas. He loved it.

powerful chop Ted...

"You ain't nothin' but a hound dog
Cryin' all the time
You ain't nothin' but a hound dog
Cryin' all the time
Well, you ain't never caught a rabbit and you ain't no friend of mine."

Wouldn't there have been copyright issues for manipulating Jackson's photo. It says he did it 40 minutes after finding it on the web so doesn't seem like he asked permission .It does say "Jackson was impressed and pleased with George's work" after the fact, but he could have been not to pleased with someone using his photo and publicly unloading it on the web w/o consulting it with him first...just a thought

Copyright is always an issue. In this case, one could argue it is parody and, therefore, fair use of the image. The best course is to use only your own and public domain images in chops, but I'm glad George didn't go that way. :grin 2:
