I am Nathalie from Germany, a part time assistant in a tax office in Bavaria, also mother to five wonderful children, 10 chickens, two cats,..., ...
Just like you, I do my edits in the evening/at night. I really need this as ZEN, otherwise I'd turn mad. Especially since the full lockdown began here in Germany. . . And no end in sight...*sigh*

I’m 10 years into caring for my elderly mother and father outside of working full time. I’ve been in Lockdown for 10 yrs lol. It’s therapy for me too. My father passed in 2015 from Lewybody Dementia and now my mother has dementia and had a stroke in 2010. I am married but my wife lives in Wales taking care of elderly mother with dementia. So we’ve seen each other three times in over a year. Thank goodness for hobbies.

I am sorry to hear that; that must be a heavy burden. I know, no one likes to admit that openly but I know the feeling really well. I helped my Grandmother take care of my Grandfather (with dementia) when I was unemployed. Especially when the elderly turn vicious (?). They say hurtful things and an hour later, they know nothing about it anymore... I wish you all the strength in the world to face your challenges.

Happy chopping. I see many names I recognise from my Freakingnews Days. None seem active. Life changes or other reasons ? Photoshopping seems to be a dying art now we have youtubers and gif makers. So many have turned to apps to entertain themselves, apps that attempt to approximate what we do, with filters and the basics, regardless of skill level.

On the free edit fb pages I get asked what app I used? Ermm none, Photoshop.
