That's a good one, Billy! Ansel also said ‘You don’t take a photograph, you make it’. Kinda like what we do here. He could be our founding father!... lol |

Yes he did. Sorry Sage, guess I'm being a little bit defensive after being screwed over in the contest before this one. |

"There are no rules to good photographs, there are only good photographs". Ansel Adams |

Yes, Splat, Ansel Adams also used the dark room! |

Hell... Norman Rockwell would use dirt from his garden in some of his paintings. And we here use texture, filters, and transform tools. So... What is your point? |

Sage, Ansel Adams used a lot of post processing in the development of his images. Some (no-name) photography critics scorn his techniques. I could care less at how he arrived at his "famous" Masterpieces. |

And Vic, I vote low on entries that have flaws. |

Ansel Adams used texture in his B&Ws. |

Thanks for the kudos, vote and your opinion, G! I might recommend researching Ansel Adams B&W photography. It could change your perspective upon monochromatic images. Then again? Not that what I've done here even slightly compares to his abilities. |

Sage, I give low votes when chops are not good, unlike you I know how to judge a chop. You are just a Photoshop Moron. |

When you vote 37 on just about everything, even some incredibly good submission where others are voting in the upper 60's and higher... I don't think you should make comments about people low voting. |

Sure is, Vic, like you, low voting me and others. Get with it already. |

Thanks Wedoo. I agree. B&W images with their deep tones and high contrast are very dramatic indeed! I try one now and again and sometimes they do get a little love. So don't give up on them. |

Yea! there’s alot of things lacking around here. |

I happen to love B&W entries. It adds drama but usually don't get the votes. I submitted one a week ago and it was my favorite submission and scored poorly. But I loved it. |

Thanks for the "positive" up up beat comment, Luna! Something this site is sorely short of. |

I think it's "just fine" the way it is. But you are welcome to your own preference Vic. |

It would’ve been more effective in color IMO |
